Each post in the forums has a unique link point associated with it, so you can link to a specific post on a forum page. This hack adds a "link" icon to each post which has a hyperlink to that unique link point, to make it easier to copy the link to post elsewhere.
- Install Firefox and Greasemonkey if you haven't already got them. You'll need to restart Firefox after installing Greasemonkey.
- Once Greasemonkey is installed and running, follow this link (or click on the orange "install" button above).
- The forum permalinks script will be downloaded, and Greasemonkey will ask if you want to install it. Assuming you trust me, click "Install".
- Go to a forum page, right click on a "link" icon at the top right of a post, and select "Copy Link Location" or "Bookmark This Link" (which do what you'd expect).
