I just released a new hack - adminspotting. It looks for posts by admin users in the forums, and reports them back to Etsyhacks. Every so often, it pings Etsyhacks and gets an updated list of posts, then highlights threads with admin participation.
I think this “community reporting” mechanism is rather nice, and I’m thinking of ways to make use of it in the future.

A tweak I would suggest - if it’s possible - is a way to jump right to the page with the admin comment. Some of the threads go way long and hunting through 68+ pages is tough.

In the lists of forum threads, where a thread has a star next it it, it will also have a “jump to” section at the right hand side. One of the links is “post” - click on that and it will list pages with admin posts on, with clickable links.
